It's specifically designed for affixing board supports (transoms) or putlogs to ledgers in scaffolding, and it's versatile enough for use in lighting rigs, staging, and guardrails. Additionally, it can secure toe boards on scaffolds. Please note, this fitting is not intended for load-bearing purposes - a double coupler should be used in those scenarios for enhanced safety and stability.
